The Carsey School Admissions team hosts a number of webinars and info sessions throughout the year. These webinars include overviews of each Carsey master's degree program and the application process, interviews with Carsey School students and alumni, and deeper dives into funding opportunities available through our partnerships. Michele Holt-Shannon, Co-founder of New Hampshire Listens at the Carsey School of Public Policy, and Carsey Research Fellow, Jess Carson discuss the unique opportunities Carsey provides for real-world application of the curriculum and how it can help advance careers in the nonprofit, community finance, government, and similar interests.

» Thursday, May 12, 2 – 2:30 p.m.

Join us to learn about Carsey's newly announced $5,000 Education Award available to employees and board members of NALCAB and NALCAB Member Organizations for select Carsey graduate degree programs.

During this information session, Michael Swack, Director of the Master in Community Development (MCD) program at the Carsey School of Public Policy, will discuss eligible Carsey degree programs and how they can help advance the careers of professionals working in the nonprofit, community finance, government, and similar industries. Michael will be joined by Holly Frindell, NALCAB's Director of Programs and Yyokkia Lawson '21G MCD, who has a long history of working in housing and economic development and is the founder of Institute for Housing, Health & Economic Development, Inc., to better connect rural homebuyers to community-based financing.

Discover Carsey’s Accelerated Master’s Degrees & UNH’s Washington Center Program

On March 10, Carsey Academic Director Dan Bromberg will be joined by Paula DiNardo, Exchange Coordinator with UNH. They’ll talk about several opportunities available to UNH undergraduates interested in working and interning for government agencies, nonprofits, and similar organizations. These opportunities include Carsey’s Accelerated Master’s degrees in Public Policy and Public Administration and The Washington Center Program – which connects UNH students to internships and seminars based in Washington, D.C.

Interested in learning about Accelerated Master’s degrees available from the Carsey School of Public Policy? During this online info session, Carsey’s Director of Academic Programs Dan Bromberg and Program Manager Robin Husslage will share with you some of the many advantages to completing an Accelerated graduate degree from Carsey. They'll be joined by current Accelerated Master in Public Policy student Alex Stern.

Discover the Carsey School-National Development Council Education Award
» Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, 12:30 – 1 p.m.

The National Development Council (NDC) is one of the most comprehensive community and economic development nonprofits in the United States. Through a unique education partnership, graduates of the NDC’s Professional Certification program can receive up to 6 graduate-level credits (2 courses) toward the Carsey School’s Master in Community Development (MCD) program. Plus, Carsey MCD students are eligible to receive a reduced rate on NDC Professional Certification courses.

Join us for this information session covering the Carsey School MCD program and the NCD Professional Certification program. MCD Program Director Michael Swack and NDC Senior Director and Training Manager Tom Jackson will discuss this unique opportunity serving both NDC alum and Carsey School MCD students.

The Carsey School First Responders Education Award
» Thursday, Jan. 20, 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Join Dan Bromberg, Director of Academic Programs at the Carsey School, as he discusses the new First Responders Education Award – a $5,000 tuition award available to active first responders, including sworn police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians. Dan will be joined by Master of Public Administration (MPA) graduate Fire Chief Robert Buxton '19G in a discussion about the Carsey School's degree programs and how they helped Chief Buxton advance in his career.
