
About Carsey's Public Policy Fellowships
The Carsey School is pleased to offer paid policy-related fellowships to Master in Public Policy (MPP) students, enabling them to earn and learn while enrolled in the MPP program.
Fellowship positions last for two semesters (typically commencing in the fall and concluding the following spring) with student fellows working approximately 15 hours per week (while classes are in session) and receiving a stipend of $6,500 per semester for a total of $13,000.

The Center for Engaged Communities (EnCo) has a variety of projects, from statewide climate planning to local school and nonprofit projects. Fellows join project teams and support research on civic health and social trust, logistics, data transcription and theming, small group facilitation, and meeting design.
Host Organization: Center for Engaged Communities, Carsey School of Public Policy
Desired Skillsets: Interest in public life, public engagement, spaces with a mix of politics, conflict, and yet the goal of fairness, equity, and healthy problem solving.
Location/Schedule: Hybrid. We are in the office, Huddleston Hall, 3-4 days a week and often out in communities. Work from home could be up to 1 day a week.
