Carsey student Sofia Ashooh ‘22G began her career in Washington, D.C, before applying to the Peace Corps and working as a Youth and Community Development Specialist in Morocco, where she lives today. Sofia sought a graduate community development program in which she could build upon her community finance training. Using her Coverdell Fellowship for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and receiving additional scholarships from Carsey, she enrolled in the Master in Community Development program, where she’s applying lessons to her work in outreach and engagement.
