Program Manager, Center on Social Innovation and Finance
Sanjeev Sharma is a program manager at Carsey's Center on Social Innovation and Finance. His role involves coordinating and communicating with students on registration, course selection, admission, travel, and other related matters for the Master in Community Development Policy & Practice and the Sustainable Microfinance and Development Program. He is also involved with the project sequence course for the Master’s program and works one-on-one with students to refine and provide input on their project design, implementation and monitoring, and evaluation plans. He also provides guidance and tutorial to students on economics, financial management, and statistics.
Sanjeev is a PhD candidate in Community Economic Development at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), from where he holds a dual master’s degree in International CED and an MBA. He has been involved in academic research on economic and cooperative development in the United States. Prior to that, Sanjeev implemented and coordinated rural development programs in Nepal, and conducted impact assessment, Knowledge Attitude and Practice study, assessment and evaluation of NGOs, and various other studies on health, hygiene, lending and savings, education, and rural water supply and sanitation.
