Maria Sillari is a Carsey Fellow for New Hampshire Listens. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for GoodWork, a nonprofit incubator working with idea phase, early stage and start-up nonprofits. An innovative problem solver and experienced facilitator who is passionate about the nonprofit sector, Maria has provided facilitation, project management, grant review and bookkeeping services to a wide variety of New Hampshire nonprofits and small businesses since 2001, and has worked with nonprofits in a variety of capacities for over 30 years. Prior to consulting Maria served as both Campaign Director and Director of Fund Distribution for a combined 15 years with the United Way of the Greater Seacoast.

Maria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire. She is past president of the advisory board for the Futures Program, past president of the board of Portsmouth Music and Arts Center, and a founding board member of Womenaid of Greater Portsmouth. She has facilitated for both Portsmouth Listens and NH Listens for many years. Maria resides in Portsmouth with her husband Greg and children Abigail and Peter.
