Education for Change Leaders

Leading change requires fortitude, commitment, sacrifice and a dedication to making decisions that benefit others and that serve the greater good. At the Carsey School of Public Policy, we give our students the tools, training, and connections to help them lead change, whether at the organizational, community, regional, national or international levels. We show them how to make a difference, how to find solutions, and how to encourage and lead others.

Below are just a few interviews with change leaders and Carsey graduates and students. When you’re ready to learn more, we are ready to help.

Master of Public Administration

Meet Matt Wilhelm '16G. Before enrolling in the Carsey School's MPA degree program, Matt was considering ways he might be able to take the next step in his career. With a young family and a full-time job, pursuing a graduate degree posed a time management dilemma. Fortunately, Carsey’s Master of Public Administration program is specially tailored for working professionals from all different career backgrounds. Plus, our students build their networks across New England and are able to directly apply what they learn in the classroom to their professional lives. Return to MPA Page

Nisha and Bob served in the Peace Corps prior to enrolling in the community development program at the University of New Hampshire. Both took advantage of the Coverdell Fellowship for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, allowing them to attend graduate school and save money. Return to MCD Page
