Mike Nikitas

Mike Nikitas teaches “Media Strategy and Skills” at the Carsey School. He brings to the classroom the media skills he teaches clients at Nikitas Communications: media interaction training, presentation and performance, public speaking, crisis communications and public relations. His clients have included the British Consul General of Boston, John Hancock-Manulife, State Street Global Advisors, MassBio and many others.
Nikitas is an award-winning former journalist who frequently appears on WGBH’s “Beat The Press.” He is a five-time Emmy nominee as Outstanding TV News Anchor in Boston and has been inducted into the prestigious “Silver Circle” of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He interviewed countless newsmakers as a news and business anchor and anchored live TV coverage of major events including the Boston Marathon bombings and 9/11.
Nikitas has also appeared in movies including the hit film “Ted.”
He holds a BA in Political Science from UNH and a Master’s in Communications from SNHU.
