Katie M. Edwards, PhD, is an assistant professor of Psychology and Women’s Studies and faculty affiliate of the Carsey School of Public Policy and Prevention Innovations Research Center at the University of New Hampshire, Durham. Specific research interests include predictors and correlates of intimate partner violence (IPV) victimization, perpetration, and bystander intervention among adolescents and young adults; leaving processes in relationships characterized by IPV, disclosure of IPV experiences and social reactions to these disclosures, and ethics of IPV research. She is committed to using findings from her research to develop, implement, and evaluate prevention, intervention, and policy efforts.
