The collaboration between researchers, practitioners, and other sector stakeholders yields compelling questions that can contribute to collaborative solutions. However, New Hampshire's early care and education (ECE) ecosystem is complex and includes a broad, dynamic community of people and organizations who contribute to and rely upon ECE research. One way the Consortium works to identify and include collaborators is by documenting the historical, ongoing, and new collaborations between partners who maintain these connections.
One way to document stakeholders in the field is through visual "maps" of community-based groups, researchers and evaluators, state partners, funders, and more. These maps rely on contributions, updates, and refinements from the field and are meant to be a shared resource reflecting the complexity and partnerships in New Hampshire's ECE ecosystem. Featured Collaboration
Between 2020 and 2023, the New Hampshire Preschool Development Grant (PDG) was a federally funded $26.8 million collaboration between UNH's College of Health and Human Services, the NH Department of Health and Human Services, and the NH Department of Education. When the NH PDG concluded in 2023, the partners received an additional $3.9 million in PDG planning grant funding.
