Iris Estabrook has long been involved in public education, as a teacher, mentor teacher, researcher and school board member. She is the former director of the U.N.H. Child Care Resource and Referral office. She served for twelve years in the NH Legislature, becoming chair of the of the Senate Education and Health and Human Services Committees and Senate Vice President for Policy.
Following her legislative service, Iris was a consultant to the NH Children’s Alliance, coordinating the work of the NH Child Advocacy Network. She is a member of the Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund Board, serves on the New Hampshire Womens’ Foundation Grants Committee and as a CASA volunteer.
