Mary Malone is a Masters in Public Policy faculty member, teaching one of the core required courses in the program, PPOL 910, Policy Across Borders.
Mary is Associate Professor of Political Science and the Coordinator of the Latin American Studies program. She teaches courses in the U.S. and World Affairs, Latin American Politics, The Drug Wars, and The Politics of Costa Rica. Her fields of research include Latin American politics, democratization, legal socialization, rule of law, judicial reform, crime control policy, political and interpersonal trust, public opinion. Mary received her B.A. degree from St. Joseph’s University and her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.
