Eleanor M. Jaffee is the Evaluation Program Director at the Carsey School of Public Policy. She has fifteen years of experience designing and implementing evaluation projects for nonprofit organizations and government agencies. She directs evaluation projects through every phase, including communications with clients and stakeholders; construction of logic models and identification of measurable outcomes; development of evaluation instruments and protocols; quantitative and qualitative data collection, management, and analysis; and production of reports and presentations for a variety of audiences. She also provides technical assistance to organizations seeking to build internal capacity for evaluation.

In her other Carsey role, Eleanor is the Project Manager of the Coös Youth Study, a ten-year investigation of the transition to adulthood and outmigration decisions among youth in New Hampshire’s rural northernmost county. She supervises participant retention, longitudinal data collection and management, and community engagement.

Eleanor has a research faculty appointment at the Carsey School and is a research affiliate of the Social Work department at the University of New Hampshire. She received her MSW and PhD from the State University of New York at Albany’s School of Social Welfare and a BA in anthropology from Binghamton University. She joined Carsey in 2010 following a year as a research associate at the Five College Women’s Studies Research Center at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts.
