UMass Boston's Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy (CWPPP) hosts the second biennial New England Women’s Policy Conference (NEWPC) on Friday, November 18, 2016 on the UMass Boston campus in the campus center ballroom. During the conference, research analyzed by Carsey School's Family Demographer Kristin Smith will be shared with more than 450 leaders.

Continuing the mission from previous New England's Policy Conference, this year's event will focus on addressing issues regarding the economic status and security of women across the region. Furthermore, the 2016 conference will build bridges among women leaders and men leaders, as well as bridges between stakeholders in the public, private and non-profit sectors in New England.
