In this webinar, we look at inclusive market development where the business enabling environment (BEE) is accepted as key in shaping how a market functions. The BEE comprises of formal regulations--the laws, treaties, certificates, standards that have to be met; and informal regulations, which are the social institutions of gender, ethnicity and religion. This webinar will present and explicate how the informal regulations within the BEE play a crucial role in understanding how exclusion is played out in a market system, and how we as inclusive market development facilitators can better understand the behaviours of economic actors in market systems so that we can be more effective in influencing systemic change.
