Barbara Cook brings to the Carsey School of Public Policy an interest in interactions between people and the environment. She maps a range of land cover and demographic data, contributing to the analysis of ways that land is used as populations and economies change over time.

Barbara earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Oberlin College and a master of science degree in teaching in biology from Antioch University. Prior to working at Carsey, she worked as a naturalist and classroom teacher.
